Mike's dad's roommate at Baylor's daughter (got all that) got married this weekend in Waco. We all piled in the car, and headed north to attend the festivities. Friday night was fun, but drunkie. We stayed with Lacey (Mike's sis) and went to a couple of Waco bars. Needless to say, it was tough getting up for our mani-pedis the next morning. The wedding on Sat. was nice...but no alcohol. Probably an "ok" thing considering we had enough in our systems from the previous night. We were all so exhausted on Sat. night that we stayed in and played "Catch Phrase." The weather was so wonderful! I wish everday in Texas was like it was this weekend.
The Boston Red Sox have made it to the World Series! I'm excited because I have a special place in my heart for them...since my company is headquartered in Boston. It's nice to see a team, who has been "cursed" for so long, doing so well. GO SOX!
