Leaving Cosmo in my 20s!

I recently subscribed to Cosmopolitan magazine. I don't really have a lot of time to read it "cover to cover," but I thought it might be a good reference guide for fashion, hair stuff...etc. I was fairly bored at Mike's softball game last night (sorry MV!), so I read through the Cosmo. It's absolutely horrible! Maybe I'm getting too old, but it seems that most articles are either directly or indirectly about "How to Please Your Man," or "How to Deal with Crazy Co-Workers." Is that all us women are...."in-training man pleasers" and "working class schmucks who let people in the next cubicle bother us" types? I mean, give us a break! It's not all about sex and work (well, maybe it is for some of us). The other "non-work/non-sex" related articles were about embarrassing moments and a "guy's story" on how they dis women. As far as getting real advise on beauty products, good luck! Magazines have mastered the art of hiding "paid promotions" in with their actual opinons of the product. I will say now....I'm leaving Cosmo in my 20s. I guess Reader's Digest is the next phase, eh? Ha!
